Carlos Tevez Saga is Damaging Football

The Grumpy face of Carlos Tevez has become a familiar sight to us and to most football fans his behaviour that infamous night in the Allianz Arena was simply disgusting, and as Graeme Souness suggested he is simply a 'bad apple'.

However Roberto Mancini, seemingly the man with the iron fist over Manchester City's superstars has made a sensational U-turn over the career of Manchester City's fallen son. After telling us in the post-match interview that fateful night in Munich tat Tevez would never feature in his team again, Mancini has now stated that with a simple 'apology' perhaps Tevez could once again feature for the current Premier League leaders. There is no doubt that Tevez is truly one of the world's finest players when he wants to be, his free-kick against Stoke towards the latter stages of last season, still showed the world what a great player he is, but his attitude is simply bad for football and especially Manchester City football club.

Mancini could be making a 'huge' error by letting Tevez seemingly get away with murder, refusing to do a job which pays £200,000 a week is almost criminal and has soured the beautiful game. We are used to seeing players leave teams for money, Asamoah Gyan was a perfect example of this and his actions were extremely frowned upon.

However what Tevez has done far outweighs any money-grubbing footballer, and Mancini is making a huge error should he let him return, as it will only effect his own reputation, and besides Manchester City have 3 great strikers at there disposal in Balotelli, Dzeko and Aguero, so why should these world class talents recieve less playing time for someone who has disgraced this great game.

We can only pray that Mancini makes the right decision and lets Tevez rot in the reserves, so that he cannot further damage the world of football.
